DEBRIS MANAGEMENT CONSULTING provides
Technical Assistance to support all aspects of
Disaster related  Debris Management Operations,
including Pre-Disaster Planning, Debris Management
Staffing, Debris Management and Monitoring
Operations Quality Assurance and FEMA
Documentation Assistance.

Each year, hundreds of communities are faced with
the daunting task of removing debris caused by
natural disasters.  In the past 20 years alone, over
700 major disasters have been declared for
communities struck by hurricanes, tornadoes,
floods, earthquakes, wild fires and other natural
disasters.

When a major disaster has been declared by the
President, FEMA provides financial assistance to the
eligible applicants in the  affected areas on a cost
share basis.
Category A - Debris Removal and
Category B - Emergency Protective Measures
typically comprise over 75% of disaster recovery
project costs
.

DEBRIS MANAGEMENT CONSULTING's staff
understands FEMA's debris eligibility requirements,
procedures and paperwork.  We can be a significant
asset to our clients by guiding them through the
recovery process - - identifying issues, activities and
situations that can adversely affect their eligibility
for FEMA grant funding and identifying alternate
external funding sources.
Our mission is to expedite the
recovery process while minimizing
costs and maximizing the amount of
disaster related financial
assistance available from external
funding sources.
